I feel like that needs to get out of the way. It really isn't complicated and I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the difficulties people had assembling and the clarity of the instructions. If you've assembled furniture before you should have this assembled in 30 mins. Probably took me that long only because I installed the base on the actual seat backwards. It has arrows which indicate which way is what so that's all on me.
Then there's quality -- yea it's pleather, PU leather, faux leather but genuine cow hide just isn't gonna be this cheap. The stitching and leather color/distress I fell in love with through the pictures and are just as good looking as you unbox and assemble. It's also pretty comfortable, the foam firmness and the lumbar support pad work really well for me.
As far as durability goes -- I dunno. This like many other reviews you'll read is not a long term review.
Overall I like this thing. It's comfy, looks great and it wasn't terribly expensive.
